Hadassah, The Women's Organization of America, Inc. ("HWZOA") is a not-for-profit organization exempt under U.S. Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c) (3). The Consolidated Financial Statements include the accounts of HWZOA and its related entities ("Hadassah").

Related entities comprise the following:

Hadassah Medical Relief Association, Inc. ("HMRA") U.S. not-for-profit 501 (c) (3)
Hadassah International, Ltd. ("HI") Bermuda corporation
The Hadassah Foundation, Inc. ("HF") U.S. not-for-profit 501 (c) (3)
The Hadassah Office in Israel ("HOI") Israeli not-for-profit entity
Fabulous Finds LLC ("FF") U.S. disregarded entity
Hadassah Medical Organization ("HMO") Israeli not-for-profit entity
Hadassah Stiftung Deutschland (Hadassah Foundation Germany)
Hadassah Mexico, A.C.

Since HWZOA, HMRA and HF are separately incorporated U.S. not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organizations they are each required to annually file their own IRS Form 990. Intercompany transactions between these related entities are eliminated in the consolidated financial statements but not on the separate Forms 990. It is important that the public should not simply total the financial data reported on the three separate IRS Forms 990 (HWZOA, HMRA and HF), as doing so will not give the reader an accurate interpretation of Hadassah's overall financial picture because the intercompany transactions are not eliminated.

Hadassah also files an IRS Form 990 for HWZOA-Group. This represents the HWZOA Chapters which operate under a Group exemption.

We encourage the public to view Hadassah's Consolidated Audit Report, paying close attention to the financial footnotes, in order to get the most comprehensive interpretation of the organization's financial health.
