Rhoda Smolow is currently the National Assembly Training Co-Chair. She is the immediate past 27th National President of Hadassah.
Rhoda has previously served as the Hadassah National Secretary, National Vice President, National Organization Department Chair and prior to that as the National Presidential Development Co-chair. She is also an elected member of the National Board. Rhoda was also the Co-Chair of Celebration 2018, a member of the National Strategic Planning Committee, the National Compliance Committee, the National Implementation Team, the Co-Chair of the Blue Print Geographic Training Program and Co-Team Manager of the One Calendar Program. Rhoda is also honored to be a Hadassah Representative to the AZM, The American Zionist Movement.
Rhoda is a Past President of the Nassau Region. She also served on the Nassau Region Board as Executive Vice President, Membership Coordinator, Leadership Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator and Area Vice President. Rhoda was a Great Neck Chapter Co-President and held many positions on the Great Neck Chapter Board. Rhoda was instrumental in opening the Great Neck Chapter of Hadassah Office. Rhoda’s first trip to Israel as a teen ignited her passion for Israel. She Co-Chaired the Celebration 2018 Mission with Frieda Rosenberg. During Hadassah's Centennial Convention in Israel she was honored to lead Hadassah's first Flash Mob. A Reading Specialist with a Masters from the University of Pennsylvania, she has taught in Philadelphia and on Long Island.
