Welcome to the Denver Chapter, located in the Mile High City of Colorado! Our chapter, founded in 1915, is the oldest in the region – established just three years after the founding of Hadassah in 1912.
Our chapter is large and diverse. We offer day and evening book groups, a study group and Zoom online programs on a variety of topics, all while promoting Hadassah’s vital work in Israel and the US. We look forward to when we can again meet in person and resume all of our programs.
Our current theme for our chapter is “Health Happiness Hadassah." We email a “Happiness” newsletter by request every 3-4 months. We invite you to join us. We will leave a light on for you!
It is my great pleasure to serve as the first President of Hadassah Greater Denver. Our organization has grown significantly since merging two existing Chapters, and we are now a strong and thriving community. We have plenty of exciting opportunities for our volunteers, whether it be participating in a one-time event or dedicating more time to our cause.
After our board meeting, participants are invited to bring their own lunch and attend a presentation by Colorado Public Radio Personality, Ryan Warner who will share with us his insights about What it Means to be a Good Listener and Conversationalist
Luncheon followed by Jeanne Abrams, who will talk about "Jewish Women Pioneering the Frontier Trail". Her focus is the history of American Jewish women in the West. She will have books for sale. The luncheon is prepared in a Kosher dairy kitchen.
