Welcome to the Denver Chapter, located in the Mile High City of Colorado! Our chapter, founded in 1915, is the oldest in the region – established just three years after the founding of Hadassah in 1912.
Our chapter is large and diverse. We offer day and evening book groups, a study group and Zoom online programs on a variety of topics, all while promoting Hadassah’s vital work in Israel and the US.
The 1,775+ membership of Hadassah Greater Denver is spread across 60 different Colorado towns and a multitude of states. Hadassah women do not sit on the sidelines when issues move us to action and we are passionate about issues and not politics. Through our actions, we hope to leave the world –– all of it –– in a better condition, fulfilling our mission. Don’t wait to be asked –– join us!
After our board meeting, participants are invited to bring their own lunch and attend a presentation by Colorado Public Radio Personality, Ryan Warner who will share with us his insights about What it Means to be a Good Listener and Conversationalist
Luncheon followed by Jeanne Abrams, who will talk about "Jewish Women Pioneering the Frontier Trail". Her focus is the history of American Jewish women in the West. She will have books for sale. The luncheon is prepared in a Kosher dairy kitchen.
