The Youth Aliyah Mitzvah Project
What better way to commemorate this special milestone in your child's life than by helping others in need. Students preparing to become a bat or bar mitzvah can make Youth Aliyah their special mitzvah project. By taking part in this program, your child can help teens who, just like them, have hopes and dreams. However, the teens at Hadassah-sponsored Youth Aliyah villages come from extremely disadvantaged circumstances, including poverty, neglect and abuse.
For B'nai Mitzvah Students
The Hadassah-sponsored Youth Aliyah villages welcome teens who receive support, education and vocational training to become productive Israeli citizens. You can make life so much better for these students and at the same time honor your Jewish responsibility for Tikkun Olam, helping others to make the world a better place. Spread the word by educating your friends, classmates, family and invited guests by asking them to help you support these at-risk youth in Israel.
