The reimagined Round Building was just a start — but 360 Degrees of Healing is much more than a renovated building.

It’s also about delivering hope for Israel’s children. Help bring healthy babies into the world while providing the very best care for their moms; keep the hearts of the most vulnerable beating strong; and keep children alive and thriving in times of crisis.

RADY MOTHER & CHILD CENTER

Without the transformative contributions of our donors, Hadassah Mount Scopus would not be able to provide top-tier care for the 6,000 babies born there each year. With adequate funding, a new 10-suite delivery room will house the facilities expected in a state-of-the-art hospital, while also offering the expectant mother the ambience and warmth associated with being at home. Each room will feature a private entrance for anyone accompanying the mother, and all the rooms will face a central nurses’ station that enables midwives to provide continuous monitoring and rapid response when issues arise.Your support will help allow for:

  • In-utero blood transfusions
  • Placental separation for twins using laser technology
  • Identification of the cause and treatment for recurrent pregnancy loss
  • Hysteroscopies and Embryoscopies, which use cameras to check mom and baby
  • Innovative placental laboratory that allows for in-depth research
  • Round-the-clock presence of a senior physician

PEDIATRIC CARDIAC CRITICAL CARE UNIT

Pediatric Cardiology is where diagnosis and treatment for all children with heart defects begins, including care for in-utero cases, newborns, children and adolescents, as well as diseases and abnormalities that manifest later in childhood. Hadassah’s capacity to care for so many children in its PCCCU is one of the reasons Newsweek lists HMO among the “World’s Best Specialized Hospitals” for cardiology. Our ability to treat patients at the highest clinical standards is made possible through the sustained generosity of our donors. The statistics are undeniable: We must meet the demands of an ever-expanding patient base:

  • The city of Jerusalem has grown to nearly one million residents
  • Nearly 15,000 births occur at Hadassah hospitals each year
  • The PCCCU admitted more than 700 patients in 2021, a 40 percent increase over 2020
  • The number of admissions in the PCCCU is expected to reach 1,000 by 2025

PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY ROOM AT HADASSAH MOUNT SCOPUS

Without funds from our generous donors, the Pediatric Emergency Room at Hadassah Mount Scopus would not be able to care for up to 18,000 of Israel’s most vulnerable patients – those who range in age from birth to 18 – as it has in recent years (with more expected as Jerusalem’s population, which has grown 10-fold since 1948 expands to one million people). Modern facilities allow our scientists to lead the research that drives that kind of care well into the future. Among many advancements to come, the state-of-the-art Pediatric emergency room will include:

  • Centralized data monitoring of all beds in the department from the nurse’s station
  • Advanced anesthesiology supply system
  • An isolation room

HERMAN DANA DIVISION OF CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRY

The commitment of our supporters is essential to keep Israel’s children mentally and emotionally healthy so they can thrive. Funding to support the Herman Dana Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is critical to provide services in treatment, teaching and training, and critical research in child and adolescent mental health. Your support will help make sure these vulnerable children receive:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group work
  • Parental guidance
  • Family intervention
  • Parents' groups
  • Psychopharmacology
