NEW YORK, NY — Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, proudly announces the appointment of Stephanie Brovenick as Managing Director of Hadassah Midwest. Ms. Brovenick, who previously served as Senior Manager of Grassroots Engagement for Hadassah, will be responsible for the operation and management of the Hadassah Midwest Geographic Area, which encompasses three regions, 49 chapters and nearly 29,000 members. Ms. Brovenick’s appointment is effective immediately.
The three regions comprising Hadassah Midwest are Hadassah Chicago-North Shore, which encompasses the Chicagoland area; Hadassah Great Plains, which includes Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan; and Hadassah Greater Detroit, which covers Michigan, Northern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
Ms. Brovenick will work with Hadassah’s volunteer leaders in these regions to achieve Hadassah’s goals in the areas of women’s empowerment, women’s health equity, Zionism and support for the State of Israel.

Ms. Brovenick has dedicated her life to the Jewish community. In addition to working for Hadassah, she has volunteered for many non-profit organizations. She is a seasoned professional with more than 18 years’ experience working with volunteers, planning high-visibility events and creating programs that drive organizational growth.
Ms. Brovenick received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Ohio State University and lives in West Bloomfield, MI. She is the mother of two sons, Cooper, 24, and Carter, 20.
