NEW YORK, NY – Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, Inc. National President Carol Ann Schwartz released the following statement today congratulating former president Donald J. Trump, Senator JD Vance and newly elected members of Congress on their election victories.  

“Hadassah extends its congratulations to former president Donald J. Trump on his election to become the 47th President of the United States, and Senator JD Vance on his election to the office of Vice President of the United States.  

“We also extend our congratulations to new and returning members elected to form the 119th Congress, including many who are committed to advancing a strong and close US-Israel alliance in these unprecedented times.

“We look forward to working with the Trump-Vance administration and the newly elected Congress to strengthen the United States’ strategic relationship with Israel, combat rising antisemitism, and champion women’s health – issues that are of concern to our nearly 300,000 members.

“Hadassah supports the institutions and processes of our democracy, the peaceful transition of power, and working together across divides to address the critical challenges and opportunities facing our nation.”
