NEW YORK, NY – Hadassah National President Rhoda Smolow and CEO Naomi Adler released the following statement in response to the United Nations’ Commission of Inquiry targeting Israel’s presentation today of its third report:

"Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, continues to call on the UN to disband the unprecedented, unending Commission of Inquiry targeting Israel comprised of clearly biased commissioners who have repeatedly made offensive antisemitic statements and do not meet UN standards of impartiality. As Commissioners present their third report, it is clear that it is nothing more than another attempt to undermine Israel's legitimacy. The COI’s report once again overlooks history, distorts the facts, shows clear bias against the only Jewish state, and attempts to denounce the widely accepted definition of antisemitism adopted by 39 countries and hundreds of entities, including ours. Hadassah continues to call for the US and other nations to speak out against and defund this illegitimate body."
