NEW YORK, NY—In response to the Senate’s passing a bipartisan bill that includes more than $14 billion in emergency aid for Israel, a democratic ally of the United States, Hadassah National President Carol Ann Schwartz made the following statement:

“Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, thanks the Senate for taking bipartisan action to pass a bill that includes emergency aid to Israel. Four months ago, Hamas invaded Israel in a brutal terrorist attack, killing children, raping women and taking 240 hostages. America must stand with its ally at this critical time. We urge all members of Congress to work together, across chambers and across the aisle, to bring the hostages home and to ensure that the US provides this essential security funding.”
