NEW YORK, NY — Newsweek has named Israel’s Hadassah Medical Organization a global leader in cardiology and oncology in the media company’s “World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2025.” This marks the fifth consecutive year that Hadassah has earned a spot among the top hospitals for cardiology and the fourth year for oncology.

Additionally, Newsweek’s “World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2025” recognizes Hadassah for its pioneering use of smart technologies, including digital imaging, artificial intelligence and robotics.

Hadassah joins such other internationally esteemed institutions as the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN; Deutsches Herzzentrum der Charité in Berlin; and AP-HP - Hôpital Universitaire Pitié Salpêtrière in Paris.

The 2025 rankings, the result of Newsweek’s annual assessment of more than 300 hospitals around the world, are based on recommendations by tens of thousands of medical experts that are verified by an international committee of specialists. The report is produced in collaboration with the global data firm Statista.

"We take pride in our oncology and cardiology teams, recognized once again on this prestigious list, as well as our technology and research and development teams,” said Dr. Yoram Weiss, Director General, Hadassah Medical Organization. “The patients who recover each year and return home are the reward for our commitment to supporting exceptional professionals with advanced technologies."

Added Carol Ann Schwartz, National President, Hadassah, The Women's Zionist Organization of America, which founded and owns the Israeli hospital system, "In times of war and in times of peace, our hospitals serve all of the residents of Israel, caring for them with great skill and compassion.
