Welcome to the Houston chapter of Hadassah Greater Southwest, which consists of 15 groups and nearly 4,000 members. We encompass a very large geographic area which stretches from Galveston to Clear Lake and Conroe to Katy including Houston, Texas. We have groups that meet during the day, some during the evening, and on weekends. Groups include movie nights, study groups, book clubs and Mah Jongg games.
Hadassah is a wonderful organization that improves the health and lives of people in Israel, the US and worldwide through educational programs and advocacy.
Hadassah’s programs and priorities are focused on:
- Advancing health and medicine in Israel and the US
- Promoting healthy living in the US
- Supporting programs such as Young Judaea and operating Youth Aliyah villages for at-risk youth in Israel
Hadassah Houston takes pride in its partnership with Second Servings and being part of the Food and Faith Coalition. We also support the Houston Methodist Neal Cancer Center by providing knitted caps for incoming patients.
