Welcome to Hadassah Greater Detroit, one of the first Hadassah chapters in the country! We are a diverse group of women from Michigan, Northern Ohio and extending as far east as Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Wheeling, West Virginia.
Our chapters offer a variety of programs and opportunities for engagement, connection and building lifelong friendships. We pride ourselves on making a difference in our local communities, Israel and the world at large through our support of the organization and commitment to tikkun olam.
We come together to fight antisemitism, save lives, support Israel and empower women. We are united in our shared values of supporting Israel and its people, social and economic justice, equity in women’s health, fighting antisemitism and ensuring Jewish continuity.
We support Hadassah’s Youth Aliyah villages in Israel, which provide at-risk, refugee and immigrant students the support they need to become productive and happy members of Israeli society.
Our organization plays a pivotal role in supporting the fundraising efforts for Hadassah's hospitals in Jerusalem, which are at the forefront of medical research. These hospitals are globally renowned for their exceptional medical research and their contributions to the advancement of medicine, which benefit humanity as a whole. We know that, together, we can heal our world!
