Welcome to Hadassah Greater Baltimore, home to approximately 4,500 members. We come from a diverse range of experiences, ages and backgrounds.Greater Balitmore is an active, engaged community that works together to further Hadassah's lifesaving work in the US, Israel and around the world while empowering women and each other. Our advocacy programs are quite popular as we take on important issues, including fighting antisemitism and advocating for women’s rights and health equity. We also have regional and chapter programs that focus on education and health, as well as social events. Every year, we host our gala, Celebrate, which has raised funds to support stem cell research and continues to raise money for cutting-edge technology at Hadassah’s hospitals and the Gandel Rehabilitation Center. Our region has a fabulous resale store, Scene II by Hadassah. Who shops at our store? Everyone, because everyone is looking for “steals and deals," which is exactly why the store is one of our biggest fundraisers.
