Hadassah Southern Seaboard has over 5,400 members, with 14 chapters in the southern half of Virginia, most of North Carolina and two chapters in West Virginia. Chapters range in size from 17 to over 1,000 members. Each chapter’s community is unique, and while they all support Hadassah’s important mission, they do so in ways that fit their local characteristics. Our goal as a region is to support our chapters and provide meaningful opportunities for Hadassah women to come together to share experiences, to learn and study together, and to build community while supporting Hadassah’s healing work in the US, Israel and around the world.
Welcome to Hadassah Southern Seaboard! I am honored to serve as President of this amazing region. The past two years have brought challenges that no one could have expected. But we rose to the challenge. Zoom has helped make our region feel smaller and, in some ways, closer than ever.
Play your favorite games with old friends or come and meet new ones. Mah jongg, bridge, canasta, Scrabble. Enjoy snacks and camaraderie and prepare to enjoy yourself. 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
