Gilat Yihye of Denver, Colo. is a former head nurse at the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) in Jerusalem. She previously worked as head nurse in the Diagnostic and Pre-Surgical Evaluation clinic, which she co-founded and where she implemented an innovative computer system.
Among her other roles at HMO were lung transplant coordinator, airborne escort from various countries and lecturer in the Henrietta Szold Hadassah-Hebrew University School of Nursing. She has also been involved in several international health projects. She has a master's degree in public health and is a published author.
