International Women’s Day is now behind us, but that doesn’t mean we need to stop celebrating inspiring women.
Take Angelina, a graduate of Hadassah Neurim Youth Aliyah Village.
Angelina came to Hadassah Neurim as a student with a talent for athletics and surfing, who never gave up, despite initially experiencing challenges. By using the tools provided to her at the village, she began to pave her own way.
While she had the potential to be a successful athlete, Angelina chose combat service and now serves in the Air Defense. She advanced directly from the commanders’ course to the officers’ course, which will conclude soon with her obtaining her officer’s rank.
Amid her military training, Angelina still keeps in touch with her mentor, who’s been guiding her since her senior year and during the significant crossroads in her life.
Angelina credits the village for giving her the courage and support to turn challenges into successes.
