Ringing in the New Year 5784 at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem was a baby girl born to Hen and Ran Rahamim Shimoni from southern Israel.
“This is our second birth, and, just like the first time, it was clear that it would be here at Hadassah Ein Kerem,” says Hen.
“The birth was so quick that I didn't need an epidural,” she laughs. “My mom is a former Hadassah nurse, and she says this will always be her home. She happily accompanied me during the birth as I had planned, and, in honor of the new year, everything happened quickly and perfectly.
“We wish the amazing Hadassah team and everyone a year of health, love and family. We definitely merited a birth that symbolizes renewal and continuity.”
