Hadassah Foundation Responds to Surge In Domestic Violence Against Women

Lonye’s article emphasizes how important it is to have empowered leadership in the local community who can raise awareness, report that abuse, and speak for abused and marginalized Israeli women. Lonye reports that for these women leaders, the ”aha” moment came when the Israeli Government National Security Council created a panel to devise an end strategy as the COVID-19 lockdown is being eased, there were no women or educators among the group.
