Researchers at the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center, together with research groups in other medical institutions around the world, are cooperating in efforts to better determine those cancer patients who can benefit from personalized immunotherapy treatment.
Considered a major advance in cancer treatment, immunotherapy boosts the patient’s own immune system to attack cancer cells precisely and selectively. Such treatments can preclude the need for chemotherapy and even biopsies.
