With Hadassah’s latest policy statement, Strengthening the Abraham Accords, Hadassah calls on legislators to strengthen these agreements through diplomacy, defense and innovation and signal the US commitment to a secure landscape in the Middle East.
After the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade and ended federal protections for reproductive choice, protecting contraception and reproductive services is critical. Bans on reproductive choice pose a serious threat to women’s health, and Hadassah believes that access to reproductive health services is fundamental to women’s health. With the latest statement, Affirming Support for Reproductive Health Medication, Hadassah calls on officials to protect and expand access to medicine such as Mifepristone and safeguard those seeking, providing and facilitating reproductive care.
