Here is something to celebrate...
Today marks Hadassah's founding, and tomorrow night Purim begins! This joyous holiday is of great importance to us at Hadassah, given the key role played by our namesake, Esther (who was also known as "Hadassah"). Both Esther and our founder, Henrietta Szold, were women of action. Faced with adversity, they didn't turn away in despair and passivity, but took decisive measures that changed the lives of many others. They exemplify the power of women who DO.
If you are looking for things you can do today — to engage your heart and mind, to make a difference, to help heal our world — Hadassah@home is here for you.
