Reflect and remember: Join us later this month for an impactful 30-minute Yom Hashoah Commemoration. Hosted by our Jewish Education Department, this program features survivors sharing their remarkable experiences during and after World War II. Let's gather as a community to feel each other's strength on this solemn day, to pay mournful homage to those who suffered and take inspiration from those who endured. Tuesday, April 18, 1 pm ET.
One Book, One Hadassah:Live with Pam Jenoff, author of Code Name Sapphire. Join us as Hadassah Magazine Executive Editor Lisa Hostein interviews best-selling author Pam Jenoff on her latest historical fiction, Code Name Sapphire. The novel is inspired by true stories of resistance during World War II and features three compelling women and their complex family relationships, secrets and betrayals. The world of education: Join the new Hadassah Educators Council for Differing Schools of Thought: Education in the US and Israel. Gain insights from education professionals, students and families as they delve deep into both the obvious and subtle differences between the two systems. Discover fresh perspectives and get updates about Hadassah's education-related initiatives, such as Youth Aliyah and Young Judaea. Tuesday, May 2, 8 pm ET.
Join the battle: Hadassah is rallying against antisemitism in the #StandUpToJewishHate campaign, uniting with a broad coalition of civil rights organizations to combat hate speech, bigotry and violence. Through community action and awareness, Hadassah is working to dismantle hate and division and create a just and respectful society. Support the campaign and help spread the word by sharing Hadassah’s Facebook post.
Support reproductive choice: Ensuring women have access to reproductive health care is essential for their well-being. That's why it's crucial our elected officials show their support for the Women's Health Protection Act. It aims to establish federal protections for reproductive freedom, which have been put at risk since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Urge your legislators to prioritize and protect women’s reproductive choice.
Your voice matters: Join Hadassah's upcoming virtual Town Hall to strengthen our organization for the future. See a snapshot of recent survey results and participate in breakout sessions to provide your perspective on your experience with and perceptions of Hadassah.
