Milestones and miracles at Hadassah hospitals

This past Sunday was Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day), a celebration of the reunification of the city of Jerusalem in 1967. This holiday is particularly meaningful to Hadassah, as it also commemorates the reunification of our two hospitals. For more Hadassah milestones, read this timeline compiled for Jewish American Heritage Month.

Whenever you're in need of signs of hope and healing in the world, look to the incredible work performed at our hospitals in Israel, including this recent account of an extremely complex aortic valve transplant at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem — an Israeli first. Reading uplifting stories like this on our website is a wonderful way to connect with Hadassah's healing work right from home.
