Aligned in perfect formation against a bright blue sky, the Israeli Air Force celebrated this year’s Independence Day by flying over Israel’s hospitals in a salute to the country’s health workers, today’s heroes in the COVID-19 battle.
“Thank you for your much appreciated gesture of flying above Hadassah Hospital,” said Hadassah Medical Organization Director General Prof. Zeev Rotstein. “It injects us with energy to continue our endeavors.” He called it “a festive opportunity to say thanks” to the entire team of medical and administrative workers who are in the forefront of the ceaseless battle against this pandemic.
