Shira Shiloah, a Hadassah life member and member of Hadassah’s Physicians Council, feels increasing pressure to “fight the public relations war against Israel when we are so outnumbered.”
In her blog post in The Times of Israel, Israeli-born Shiloah writes that Hadassah National President Carol Ann Schwartz offered a powerful, yet comforting message: “We may be outnumbered, but we are not alone.”
Shiloah recounts an encounter with a Christian man who said he only has love for Israel and its people, a sentiment that brought Shiloah to tears because of the alarming rise of global antisemitism since October 7.
