By now we all know that the Supreme Court released its decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health, overruling the precedent set by Roe v. Wade.
Hadassah, The Women's Zionist Organization of America reaffirms its unwavering support for full and complete access to reproductive health services and every woman's right to make decisions based on her personal religious, moral and ethical values. Hadassah will continue to fight for federal and state legislation affirming and protecting reproductive rights.
We cannot give up — there is still so much to be done at the federal and state levels to protect reproductive freedom. You can join us in this effort by celebrating champions of choice and joining efforts in your local and state level to add your voices to the fight for reproductive health.
Here's what we're doing, and how you can take a stand with #Hadassah4Choice.
Hadassah released a statement from National President Rhoda Smolow and CEO Naomi Adler noting Hadassah's strong opposition to the Supreme Court's decision.
If you are joining a march or rally in your community, you can download, print and distribute signs, stickers and t-shirts to amplify your voice! Reminder: Hadassah observes Shabbat and members should not participate as representatives of the organization during that time.
Urge your legislators to work across the aisle and to create laws that will protect choice at the federal level. Speak up for women's reproductive rights and write your members of Congress today.
Moving forward, we will also be engaging in select state actions that will help protect reproductive choice or fight efforts to restrict choice in critical states across the country.
