New ways to do good with reConceiving Infertility and Hadassah.

June is World Infertility Awareness Month, and Hadassah's new reConceiving Infertility initiative is a terrific way to stay connected to our organization and do meaningful work in our current moment. In recent weeks, we've hosted webinars and interviews featuring our reConceiving Infertility Ambassador Amy Klein, premiered informative videos, and advocated for change.

This week, you'll find even more ways Hadassah is working to increase awareness about and destigmatize infertility. Here are more ways you can learn, connect and engage.

Listen and learn: Hadassah's reConceiving Infertility initiative continues with the launch of a new episode of the Hadassah On Call podcast, "The Many Paths to Parenthood," featuring our infertility expert, Dr. Hananel Holzer. Hear about his groundbreaking research and how he is helping to expand the definitions of family.

Then continue the conversation: Register now for a special conversation about the personal and political aspects of infertility with Amy Klein, Hadassah reConceiving Infertility Ambassador; Karen Paikin Barall, Hadassah Director of Government Relations; and Elana Frank, CEO and Founder of the Jewish Fertility Foundation. On Monday, June 22 at 12:00 pm EDT.

Tonight! Be a part of it: Hadassah's new national book club, "One Book, One Hadassah" — from Hadassah Magazine and Engagement — launches today! To kick it off, we have a fabulous live event with Jennifer Weiner, whose fun new novel, Big Summer, was an instant New York Times best-seller. She'll be speaking with Hadassah members live online tonight at 7:30 pm EDT. Don't miss it! Then continue the conversation with your local Hadassah book group, using our discussion guide.

At-home exercise class: Ageless Grace: Chair Exercises to Boost Brain Power, June 17 and 24 at 12:00 pm EDT, for Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness month

Wave your Israeli flag: The virtual 2020 Celebrate Israel Parade is now on Sunday, June 21 at 1:00 pm EDT. This year's theme has special resonance for Hadassah, a proud sponsor: it's todah (thank you) to frontline and healthcare workers in the US, Israel and everywhere. View on the Parade's Facebook page and look for Hadassah to make an appearance.

From our friends: The Jewish Women's Archive, as part of its ongoing series Leading through Crisis and Change: Jewish Women at the Turn of the 20th Century, profiles Hadassah's remarkable founder, Henrietta Szold, on June 11 at 8 pm EDT.

Treat yourself to an Israeli breakfast: Hadassah Magazine's Jessica Halfin shows us how to lay out a modern Israeli breakfast spread, with Tomato, Herb and Cheese Frittata, No-Knead Overnight Artisan Bread and a za-’atar-spiced cheese plate.

In case you missed it: Spread healing around our world with this powerful music video filmed in Hadassah Hospital.

Hadassah Magazine recipes: In late spring, Hadassah Magazine's Jessica Halfin often serves quiche—with either a spinach or saut√©ed leek and zucchini filling—for an easy yet elegant lunch option.

In case you missed it: You can still watch these recent past programs.
