Dr. Josh Schroeder is the head of the Spinal Deformities Surgery Department at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem. With a distinguished career in orthopedics and spinal surgery, Dr. Schroeder is renowned for his expertise in diagnosing and treating complex spinal deformities. He has pioneered several techniques in spinal correction and has contributed extensively to research in his field. He was the first in the world to perform robotic-assisted surgery for fixing a severe spinal fracture using two innovative robots: the Zeego Robot Navigator and the Renaissance Surgical Robot.

Dr. Schroeder's commitment to advancing surgical practices and improving patient outcomes is matched by his dedication to education and mentorship, making him a leading figure in spinal deformity treatment and orthopedic surgery. He is a member of the Israeli Orthopedic Association, the Israeli Association for Spine Surgery, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), and the North American Spine Society (NASS). A graduate of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical School, Dr. Schroeder also received advanced training at Cornell University Hospital for Special Surgery, where he specialized in spinal surgery and research activities in the Orthopedics Department.
